Chile
Jean, Jeffrey, Beth (team leader), Kirsten, Clayton
With its social and economic stability and transformation from dictatorship into democracy, Chile is in rarified air for a Latin American country. However, Chile must also move on from its scarred past and pain. Forgiveness and grace are essential for this to happen. Opportunities for the Chile team include evangelism to predominantly unreached people in remote mountain and island villages, assistance with a new church plant, friendship evangelism, teaching conversational English, production of kid’s programs and drama, and physical labor. |

Himalayas
Courtney, Donny, Tina, Zach (team leader)
In the Himalayas, there is a history of repression of Christianity. While followers of Jesus have more freedom today, converting to Christianity is still hazardous. Because of this, the team will have to be wise as they share Christ, and take precautions when they communicate with friends and family at home. The Himalayan team will be involved in a variety of outreaches including trekking into unreached villages, helping in orphanages, teaching English, and helping with discipleship training. This team will have the opportunity to help equip the future church leaders of the country. |

Malawi
Jeremy (team leader), Alyssa, Kristyn, Nathan
While Malawi remains a stable and peaceful land in a region plagued by wars, civil strife and violent politics, the nation also faces serious challenges in the future, like a combination of poverty and high population growth. The grip of poverty hampers development not only in the financial realm but also in terms of education, AIDS prevention, family life and even effective ministry and discipleship. Opportunities for this team include working at a feeding center for needy children, prison ministry, and helping with discipleship training initiatives. |

North Africa
Cody, Derek, Jordan (team leader)
There is much pride in this region of the world because it is a center for Islamic learning and heritage, and those who become Christians are often persecuted for their faith. Only about five percent of all people in this region have ever met a Christian or heard the gospel. This team will start their outreach in language school, and then embark on treks into unreached mountain villages to share the gospel through building relationships, prayer walking, and various media forms.
This part of North Africa is considered closed to Christianity, so the team will have to be wise about sharing Christ and careful about what they share with people back home. |

South Asia
Maggie, Gabriel, Connie, Alex, Charity (team leader)
In this part of South Asia, 300 million people toil in a simple struggle for daily survival, while deep poverty haunts more than 600 million more. The bulk of this team’s outreach will be at a coffee shop, where they will try to form relationships through their work. They also hope to help take water to remote villages, work with prison ministries, and teach English as a second language.
