Thailand has an ancient culture mixed with western influence. After language study, this team will focus on friendship evangelism. Opportunities include teaching conversational English, partnering with our long-term workers in an effort to reach out to children, single moms that are coming in off the street, prostitutes, and university students.

North Africa In this area of North Africa, the people have a pride in their country as a center for Islamic learning and heritage. Converts to Christianity are often persecuted for their faith. Only about five percent of the population have ever met a Christian or heard the Gospel. This team will spend the first part of outreach in language school, building relationships with the local people. Outreach possibilities include helping at an orphanage, teaching English, and encouraging and helping long-term workers in their outreach endeavors.

USA The United States of America is a land with a rich spiritual heritage that is steadily being eroded. Christianity Today noted that if the unchurched population in the United States were its own nation, it would be the fifth most populated nation on the planet. This team will spend approximately half of their outreach in St. Louis working with World Impact, an organization that focuses on ministering to the inner city. They will spend the rest of their outreach touring as a ministry team encouraging churches, youth groups, and camps through drama and music.

Kenya This outreach is for the brave at heart. Severe drought and the HIV/AIDS pandemic have wreaked havoc on the Kenyan people. Many people groups have been displaced here. This team will work in a refugee camp, trek into remote villages, and encourage the local churches. This team will be roughing it. They will encounter scorpions and possibly cobras. There is nothing plush about this outreach but…the need is great.

Middle East is rich in culture and history. It is the crossroads to the Middle East and Europe. This team would spend time in language school followed by several possible outreach options including: assisting a local church with refugee outreach, becoming certified to teach conversational English, relational evangelism, helping facilitate dramas, and assisting our long-term workers in established ministries.

Spain is rich in culture. After language study, this team will be working on friendship evangelism through building relationships with university students, immigrants, teaching conversational English, and possibly help with a gym/coffee house ministry.

South Asia is mostly Hindu with a sizeable Muslim populations. They are ancient lands full of striking contrast between the rich and poor, the colorful and mundane, mountains and deserts. This team will split their time between two countries. There are many outreach possibilities for this team including: working with orphanages, reaching out to HIV victims, teaching conversational English, discipling new believers, prayer trekking into unreached villages, and working with Youth With A Mission.

Madagascar is the fourth largest island and one of the poorest countries in the world. It is mountainous and tropical. This team will spend half of its time to help build airstrips for Mission Aviation Fellowship (MAF), an organization that seeks to provide relief for people in remote villages. The other half of their time will be spent helping with medical safaris, working with medical aid via hovercraft, helping in an orphanage, and teaching English.
