Name: Kellie Elizabeth Emery

Age: 20

Hometown: Arcadia, Florida

Favorite Color: Blue... actually kind of green.

How did you first hear about REACH?

A former pastor of my church went through the YES program.  He recommended both REACH and YES to me, and after looking into them both I decided to go through REACH.

Where did you go while you were in REACH?

I went to Granada, Spain.  We spent our time doing a lot of friendship evangelism, helping Spaniards with conversational English, and supporting RMM's other long term workers there.

What has been the best part of being a Staff Intern so far?

Getting to know the other interns has been pretty great.

What about your Staff Intern term are you most looking forward to?

Probably going through REACH DTS again and getting to know everyone and sessions and getting to know everyone.  I really like it.  I think the sessions is what I'm most looking forward to so that I can hear them a second time and really get to hear them again and continue to apply it.  Also for the weather to get warm.  I'm a Floridian so, it's... cold.

What is your least favorite part of cleaning the RIC?

Bleach fumes in the bathroom.

If you could be any animal, which one would it be and why?

Umm... maybe an elephant.  Because who doesn't like elephants?  They're big and fun.

If you were a country singer writing a song, what would the title of that song be?

 "I'm Fixin' To"

What is the secret to understanding girls?

Listen to what they have to say and know when it's appropriate to hug them.  We like hugs (sometimes).
